Q: How much will my order cost?


A: Because of the large number of variables in any given order (style/color/quantity/inks/stitch count/etc.), we prefer that customers inquiring about prices would call or e-mail us. That way, we can assure that you get the best price possible for exactly what you are needing for your particular order.


Q: Can I use my item design elsewhere, such as an advertisement for my business?


A: The designs created for your order are created for use exclusively on work done through Red Barn Screen Printing. If you wish to use your design (or a part of your design) outside of Red Barn, a small fee is required for copyright purposes. Please check with us prior to using any of our layouts elsewhere.


Q: Can I bring in my own garment or item to get it personalized?


A: We can personalize your garment or item. We’ll just need you to sign a waiver. However, we can generally obtain just about anything from our distributors that you may need, many times at a lower cost than most retailers.


Q: Can I bring in my own artwork?


A: Many clients do bring in art that they would like to use in their order. Even though we have the capability to use many forms of art, we highly suggest calling or e-mailing our Art Department beforehand: art_redbarn@columbus.rr.com . Sometimes, however, better results are obtained using art that we have generated.


Q: What’s the minimum quantity I can order?


A: You can always order 1 of anything. Keep in mind that smaller orders incur higher per-piece prices and may illicit a higher set-up fee.


Q: Can I return items I don’t want?


A: You may return unused blank items within 30 days (a restocking fee may apply), but customized items are non-returnable.


Q: What is the best process (screen printing, embroidery, transfer, etc) to use for my order?


A: Please check out our Processes page to get the lowdown on the best process to use to get your order done just the way you want it at the best price, or call our staff, who will be glad to assist you in any way.


Q: Does Red Barn give price breaks for a higher quantity order?


A: In most orders, a higher quantity means a lower price.


Q: Can I use a trademarked logo (such as Coke, Ford, Ohio State University) on my items?


A: Any logo or existing image must have the permission of the owner of that image to be reproduced. To do otherwise would be an infringement of copyright laws.


Q: Can you special order sizes/colors/styles?


A: Specialty items are not a problem. Please call us or browse our website to determine what is available.


Q: How do I pay for an order?


A: You may pay with credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express), debit card, personal check or money order. Orders through schools need a PO# before the job will be printed. All other orders require at least 50% down.


Q: What if I need my order faster than the 2-week turnaround?


A: We will make every effort to get your finished order to you as needed. Our goal for order completion is 5 days after approval of artwork or sew-outs. Please note that some specialty items can't be rushed.
